ABQ Day 2/ 50 Weeks

Ella and Sandler. Ella loved all the new toys. Sandler was really good about sharing with her. There were only a few times that he didn't want her to play with something, which is pretty impressive for a two year old. They really seemed to like each other.

Yay for chilly weather!

The cousins playing.

Jeff's cousin Arielle is pregnant, so Jeff got her a bottle of non-alcoholic wine. Ella found it in her bag and pulled it out to play with. We couldn't resist the photo-op.

Dinner time!

The cousins again. Ella was being crazy, so that was the only way I could get her to be still long enough to take the picture.

Friday morning we woke up, let the kids play for a while and got ready. Ella and I went back down for her morning nap and Jeff ran some errands. Ella and Sandler were on opposite nap schedules, his one nap a day was right in between her two. So between the two of them, we had one or the other napping for about 7 hours in the middle of the day.

Anyway, after she woke up, we took her to Jeff's Aunt Cindy and Grandma's house and dropped her off with his parents. Jeff and I went to lunch with his Uncle Dave. We had a really yummy (and surprisingly quiet...) lunch.

We headed back to Cindy's and I again managed to wrangle Ella down for a nap. She actually slept pretty well at Kelly and Arielle's house, but she did not want to sleep at Cindy's. Maybe there was just too much going on and she didn't want to miss out.

When she woke up, Jeff, his Dad, and Uncle Dave had just left to go to a little brewery nearby. Cindy was nice enough to run me over to meet them. We each had a beer (or a beer float, in my case) and then went to pick up some BBQ for dinner. Again, all the family got together for a big delicious dinner. I'm not sure I would have though of Albuquerque as having good BBQ, but it really was. After dinner we headed back to Kelly and Arielle's for baths and bedtime.
