Sorry for the bad picture, it's the only one I got of Ella holding the phone up to her ear. She is obsessed with phones right now. She will steal any she can get her hands on and she's very aware of any ringing phones. She also likes to pretend like pretty much anything is a phone. If it's even remotely phone shaped she walks around with it held up to her ear. She also tries to use her pointer finger to work the smart-phone. So far she has rearranged my icons, called my Dad, and sent a few texts.

Oh, and of course, she chews on the phone.

Arielle was working on making a quilt and Ella kept climbing onto her fabric. Arielle gave her some scraps of the fabric to play with to try to keep her occupied. It became a very temporary bow (like just long enough for the picture) and eventually a leash for a stuffed puppy.

Back to Cindy's yard. It was a little cold that day. We loved it!

Ella loved that bark. She spent about 20 minutes picking up pieces of it and handing it to me.
Saturday morning, Jeff got up super early and went to watch the mass ascension at the Balloon Fiesta. It was too early and too cold for Ella so we slept in a bit and then got up to play with Sandler and Arielle for a while. Jeff got home just in time for Ella's nap so I could watch the slaughter otherwise known as the Red River Shootout. When Ella woke up, Jeff left to go to a Beer Fest thing with his Dad, Uncle Dave, and Danny. Ella and I finished the game and had lunch with Arielle while Sandler took a nap. After nap number two, we all went to Cindy's again for more football, playing in the backyard and burgers.
